Alright guys, you are right. The Megavideo video shown here is indeed The Zillo Beast Strikes Back. But no matter, if you truly love the series and want to see this episode, you should go ahead and buy a copy of the complete season 2. The Blu-Ray edition is filled with extras that make it even more worth the money. Now, for my review:
This was a somewhat different episode. Okay, who am I kidding, putting Godzilla in a Clone Wars episode? WOW! I did not see that one coming! But put away the initial shock, and well, you have yourself a pretty decent episode. I'm glad they brought Mace Windu back, because he's sat out almost the entire season so far and only had one episode in season 1. As far as I am concerned, he kicked butt again in this episode, but he wasn't invincible either, as he was forced to retreat from the Zillo Beast (Who wouldn't?). Anakin returned for another strong episode, and this was also the first time that he had worked together with Mace in a Clone Wars episode. Now to the good stuff: the Zillo Beast itself.
Man, oh man was the Zillo Beast awesome. He stands at over 200 feet tall and I don't have any clue as to how much he weighs. All I know is, you'd be is some real trouble if he sat on you. He had lots of spikes on his body, and the scales were tinted a light beige. But as Anakin noticed later, there were chinks in the scales which could be targeted by a stun cannon.
The cliff hanger at the end of the episode was great, and I remember that when this actually aired on Cartoon Network, I was SO excited about The Zillo Beast Strikes Back. Look for my review of that episode tomorrow.
IGN Rating: 8.3/10
My Rating: 8.4/10 (That close? Well done.)
