Two very strong episodes!

In a row of spectacular episodes, Grievous Intrigue bumped up the suspense, action, and lightsaber battles. Adi Gallia and Eeth Koth were new Jedi who the Clone Wars were experimenting with to see how effective they were, like they did with Luminara and Aayla Secura in the past. Both were very talented and Eeth was part of that amazing first confrontation scene with Grievous at the beginning of the episode. Speaking of that, this was one of the first, if not the first, Clone Wars episode to feature a lightsaber battle right at the beginning of the episode. Grievous was portrayed as a signifigant and deadly threat for the first time this season, and he beat up Obi-Wan pretty good, just as he did later in Season 3's ARC Troopers. Overall, this episode was one of the best yet, having everything you could possibly want in the show. Thumbs up, Lucasfilm. Thumbs way up!

While The Deserter couldn't quite match the expectations set by Grievous Intrigue, it showed us that some clones aren't loyal just to the Republic. This can be said for deserter Cut Lawquane, who was featured in this episode as the husband of a Twi'lek and the father of two young children. He ended proving that although he wasn't loyal to the republic anymore, he would fight to his last breath to defend them.
