WOAH! Although I've already seen the first seven episodes, I know that Season 3 is gonna be awesome! I have a feeling that the Nightsisters, Ventress getting betrayed, and Savage Opress all have something to do with each other. This season is getting dark, and I'm not sure what to expect later on.
So far, I rate this season an 8.4/10. Bravo Lucasfilm!

Update: 12/24/10 - Christmas Eve
Alright, now that I've seen and reviewed the entire first half of Season 3, I'll share my thoughts.
We got off to a teriffic start with the Kamino two-parter, which featured some of the biggest and most violent battle scenes yet. But unlike the Clone Wars movie back in 2008, the battles weren't meaningless and we had some pretty excellent storytelling done here! Following on the heels of these episodes was the spectacular episode Supply Lines, featuring the most dramatic death scene yet, aside from those of 99 and the Zillo Beast. The battles were once again intense and we got our classic Jar Jar back, who sat out Attack of the Clones. The fourth episode of the season, Sphere of Influence, dropped from the quality of the premiere and Supply Lines, but not that much. It had one of my favourite single-minute battles in the entire series, mixed along with some pretty comical moments. Corruption fell down as well, a little farther than the previous episode. I must bemoan that we got an out of character Duchess Satine and some kinda creepy-looking Egyptian (they looked like it) villains. The Academy brought the series way back up to the standards of the Season 2 Mandalore trilogy, which were set pretty high. Then we had Assassin, which was perhaps the scariest and darkest episode yet of the season. We had visions, terrifying "scream out loud" moments, and even a little bit of action on the way. I do wish that the storyline had been spread out upon two episodes, as it did feel like it had been a little bit of a rushed episode, as the two confrontation scenes were "blink and you miss it" material. Then we had Evil Plans, which again fell and was probably the worst episode of the season. Yeah, yeah, maybe it did feature Cad Bane, the almighty bounty hunter, but even that didn't make this an interesting episode. Sorry, Lucasfilm. We got a better episode the following week with the best Bane battle (I like the sound of that) yet. This scene featured flamethrowers, ropes, blasters, and even more. The rest of the episode wasn't necissarily crummy, but the there wasn't much to remember aside from the battle scene. Then we had yet two more Amidala-based episodes, but they were the strongest yet! Both featured some exceptional voice acting and animation, mixed with a great storyline and the return of Robonino. Bravo Lucasfilm, even though I already said that before. So, what's my overall score? I give this season an 8.8/10! But by the looks of it, IGN has given it a 7/10. Ouch!
