Now that I look back on the movie, I can see how much that the show has improved. The animation is 10 times smoother now than it originally was, and the voice acting has gotten signifigantly better. I just realized after watching the credits that Cristopher Lee, who played Dooku in the movies, reprised his role in this movie, but was replaced by Corey Burton in the series. This change is barely noticable and both actors are extremely talented. Speaking of Dooku, he totally rocked in the movie. Ventress was shown, unfortunately, as not a great villain in this movie, but the series showed her as even better than Grievous. Overall, the movie wasn't as good as most of the episodes in the series, mostly because of Ziro, but it was entertaining and I ABSOLUTELY loved it when I saw it in the theaters.
IGN Movie Review: 5/10 (Oh come on!)
My Rating: 7.5/10

When I saw the movie in the theaters back in '08, I was expecting to wait in a huge line. Unfortunately for lucas, there was NOBODY there. Sure, there were something like fourty people, but please! This is STAR WARS! When I went to see Epsiode III in '05, I saw it two weeks after it came out and the theater was still filled up.
Focusing on the movie, it was pretty good. It was a good start for the clone wars, but as said before, Ziro kinda ruined it. However, the plot which intertwined with Jabba the Hutt was excellent. However since then, the TV series has definitely improved in voice acting, animation, and all around plot as well. Overall I'd give it a 6.5/10, when compared to the rest of the Saga.

Oh, if anyone has missed it, there is a new trailer out for episode 12 or 13 (I'm not sure which). It looks like we'll be introduced to the Nightsisters and Ventress' revenge sooner than we thought. I'm all for this, but I was kinda hoping for this storyline to happen later in the season. I really hope that this becomes a thorough storyline for the rest of season 3.

The movie that started the series that caused embarrassment too Star Wars. Urrgh, I will never watch it again. I have never been more disappointed in my life than when I went too theatres and saw what a shit pile my favourite series of films had come down too.
