Im getting that sinking feeling that Filoni is once again trodding on canon he shouldn't be touching. In the words of many Star Wars characters "I have a bad feeling about this"

I agree with Fireguy somewhat. I would say that "this looks awesome," but I said that to the trailers for season 3, and look how THAT turned out.

I have to say that I'll be looking foward to season 4, however to respond to fireguy I don't think that they are messing up the cannon all that much because there is a rather large timeline between episodes 2 and 3 and remember it wasn't all that long ago that star wars wasn't even on tv so I thank god we have this show and be thankful for it.

I hope this season includes more original episodes rather than the clones shooting at droids scenario. Just like 'Legacy of Terror' from season two. That was probably one of the best episodes from the entire series.

Speaking of which, could we have that episode re-uploaded? I would really want to see it again.

Someone is clearly completely oblivious to much of the EU and the original, far better, Cartoon Clone Wars series.

Speaking of which, I do love how Filoni attempts and fails continuously to live up to that series name (hes taking scenarios from it now, as made clear by this trailer). Unfortunately, he will probably never get it right for Genddy had a lot of things Filoni doesn't. The 3 major things being, originality, not breaking canon and actually contributing something to the saga.

Fireguy, if filoni makes a series based on comics, sagas and episodes how on earth will this series be innovative and get an audience? I mean, try thinking for one f*cking second OUTSIDE THE BOX and be imaginative.

An excellent season by the looks of it. We'll finally get to see Anakin battlee Count Dooku after that of the scene from the Star Wars The Clone Wars movie. And judging from where Fives (I think it was) said, "One day this war is going to end," I bet that means we'll be getting closer to the FINAL episode in the series.

Innovative? Imaginative? trolololololol, this series is hardly innovative or imaginative, you have no idea how much it draws on previously done material in other EU material. You also dont have to think outside the box to follow canon, it doesn't take a genius. Genddy did it, he followed canon perfectly and did a hell of a lot better job.

Actually, Filoni does have to get authorisation from Lucas to add new characters, however, Filoni now has far to much freedom. Filoni is the one who deals all the damage to canon and directs the project. Its also funny how the best episodes aren't directed by Filoni.

jjsch26, to change some details of some characters doesn't damage star wars, it actually sometimes make it better. E.g. Who knew the homeworld of maul? who knew the species of ventress? who knew when piell will die? I guess that only the very true fans of star wars knew it. Yet, it doesn't affect directly to the complete saga, cause after comics were the only source where wookiepedia was able to get all the info from Star wars. But now, theres a new and better source - a series. And, george lucas cares much more about this series than any other comics, so therefore he would like to give us his true interpretation of the saga in the clone wars, as it drags more audience. Nevertheless, i appreciate your argument.

My general review of the episodes of the clone wars: most of the episodes are pointless pieces of shit with very weak arguments and they are hardly entertaining. Why do I keep watching them? Because I just like watching the star wars characters being alive again. That's it. Probably, if there was a series with every episode the same as the ones of tcw but without the sw characters, nobody would see it. Although, this series doesn't damage the content of the saga, it just damages the prestige of the saga.

But what I hate about you, is the fact that you go everywhere trolling around and act as if you were superior. If you want to criticize something, just give evidence for your argument. Dont be a kid and say "i don't like this because i don't like it". Example: "...any fanatic fanboi that doesn't know what real SW is.". wtf? how is the REAL sw is? you just randomly choose words which nicely fit in your sentence but don't mean a shit.

real star wars is about a galaxy far far away and is about jedi and other people that are fighting in war. the clone wars fits perfectly in that story. george lucas gave comic book writers star wars and some ideas of the EU used lucas in the preuels. I don't say I hate the clone wars. I like most episodes. it is that I hate new characters that are far more powerful than most jedi like ashoka, savage opress and galen marek (TFU).

The reason I hate this show is because they just wont let clone wars die, its been explored so much already, it doesn't need any more exploration, but they still market it. On top of that, the most annoying part is how they dont even try too stick with the established continuity, they break canon so much its not even funny. There are so many interesting stories they could do in this series, but they dont even touch, in favour of trying to do something whimsical and stupid. The new characters they add are weak *cough* Ashoka *cough* and plain pathetic as well.

The animation is wooden at points, however at times it can be very good, but thats actually very rarely. Its also evident their running out of episode ideas since the storylines for the average episode are getting worse, and worse, and worse. The writings always been pretty bad for this show but they've proved they can actually degrade it further. I hate how their now leeching on the old, far better, Clone wars for storylines and in the process ruining the magic of that series.

The only upside is the occasional very good episode (ARC troopers, Clone Cadets, The Mandalore Plot episodes, Rookies, all The Citadel episodes) that come up. Other then that, I watch this series mainly because I just feel drawn to it because its Star Wars, my favourite movie series of all time, and because of the good episodes that come up.

The series could be so much better, seriously.
