Wow! Another exciting installment, one that tops its predecessor!
The last time a storyline came this close to the quality of these three episodes was the Mandalore trilogy of season 2. But the Clone Wars producers have managed to step it up even more by adding more intense and dark action than ever before. Behold, the greatest episode of season 3 yet, and the second best episode EVER of the Clone Wars. Many people will agree, this episode was completely stunning, from the visually-stunning tests (which everyone except for Savage failed) to the intense, action-backed ending battle scene.
Savage had a completely different voice than I thought he would, but it actually turned out to be better having Clancy Brown voice him. We definitely saw some human emotions inside him; I actually feel that he wouldn't have turned to the dark side had the Nightsisters not put the magic on him. We saw that the spell the Nightsisters put on him tore all of the humanity away from him: all that's left is brutal talent and an inside killing machine. He killed Feral, his own brother! The Nightsisters are so cruel!
There were only two things that held this episode back from being completely perfect. One was the shortness of the first two tests. They lasted pretty much half a minute, and even though they had tons of action, they felt a tiny bit rushed. The third test almost made up for it. The other was that the ending was also a bit sudden, as I believe that the shot of Savage looking at Dooku but smiling at Mother Talzin should've been the end of this episode. Then, we could've used that spare time to extend the challenges that Ventress put on the Zabraks.
IGN Rating: ? (Not posted yet, possibly a 9/10)
My Rating: 9.4/10

Wow, this episode was a lot nastier than I expected.
I was surprised that the CW included excessive violence; they even killed the young padawan. That's usually not what the CW would do, they try to make it as "Family Friendly" as possible due to having it air on Cartoon Network.
All in all, I absolutely LOVED this episode! :D

IMPRESSIVE!! I <3 SAVAGE OPPRESS!

The IGN Rating is 9, just like I thought. I also have one thing to had to my review:
The final action scene was a lot more intense than I originally said it was, now that I've watched it again. The only complaint I have is that these two characters, the Jedi, hadn't been seen before and they felt kind of random. We've had a lot of awesome, quickly-introduced characters (General Di, Captain Keeli, etc.) before, but this didn't seem just right. But this isn't nearly enough to make me change my rating. The episode's still just as awesome!

Administrator,
Thanks for the compliment! I'd love to have my review on external sites, and especially BrickTuts! :)

Well. What can I say? It was extremely entertaining other than the fact that they totally disregard the fact that Darth Maul is human (found on many sources) and Darth Tyranus aka Count Dooku is completely loyal to Palpitine up until he dies in Episode 3. Other than the story lapses (which this series is famous for) I'd say a very entertaining episode.
7/10

This one almost earned my respect back, instead of trying to dumb it down for the kiddies. He just made it, screw the family friendliness. He didn't attempt stupid humour or retarded sequences. He just made the damned episode, and it came out quite well, although pretty brutal.
I have a feeling this will spawn complaints somewhere, but I dont care. This episode is one of the better ones. Although the Kamino episodes are still the best. 8/10 hopefully the start of a spree of good episodes?

I'm not quite sure where to post this; its sort of like an update for another trilogy after Witches of the Mist. Here you go:
I was searching the Witches of the Mist preview-version episode guide on starwars.com, and I came across a rather interesting comment posted by "starwarsartist". He gave us a link to this really interesting website picture on "eucantina.net" with tons of info on the upcoming trilogy of Mortis (from Insider issue #123). The link is further down in the comment.
In Overlords, episode 15, Anakin as well as Ahsoka and Obi-Wan are drawn to the mysterious planet of Mortis. Anakin learns about his destiny from an apparent group of local Force users and he faces his most difficult challenge yet.
In Altar of Mortis, episode 16, the three Jedi attempt to escape Mortis, but Ahsoka is taken captive and a plan is set in place to lure Anakin to the Dark Side. There is no definite detail posted that gives us any clue as to who the kidnapper(s) is, but I must note that these episodes are the introduction of the Vampire-looking people from the Dark Ahsoka trailer.
In the conclusion to the trilogy, Ghosts of Mortis, Anakin must choose the light or dark side as he gains disturbing insight into his own future. Ahsoka and Obi-Wan prepare to confront an unknown evil and finally unravel the secrets of Mortis.
Episode 15 airs on January 28th, and Episode 16 airs on February 11th (two week break again - Aww!). Episode 17 airs on February 18th.

Mortis Trilogy Update #2:
This may seem unbelievable, but today, an all new Clone Wars exclusive post was put onto "ew.insidetv.com". This video cannot be found on StarWars.com yet, so I decided to let everyone see it in a link. Here's what I found out:
Liam Neeson is going to voice Qui-Gon in the Clone Wars! OMG! The episodes "Overlords" and "Altar of Mortis" will feature Obi-Wan having visions about Qui-Gon and his theories of Anakin being the Chosen One. This trilogy of episodes will surely touch upon that subject and I'm sure that there'll be more surprises in the Mortis Trilogy down the road. Another thing to note is that Matt Lanter, voice of Anakin, explained in Insider #123 that this trilogy is truly the darkest content of this show yet.
Here's the link to the video:

I loved the scene with Savage Oppress' first murder to one of his own species. The victim's all like, "Savage, wait, I beg you! Aw, shit, this ain't workin. AAAH!" Savage Oppress is a monster here, no wonder they called the episode Monster. I think Savage is my new favorite Sith Lord. Well the Jedi can say goodbye to their life, LOL. Wait, they did, two of them got killed. EPIC!

I read comments on youtube commenting on videos of star wars the clone wars and a lot of morons are saying Darth Maul might make an appearance in episode 15. Somehow, I find that rather hard to believe, considering Obi-Wan cut him in half and mistaked Savage for Darth Maul. They may be the same bloodline or something, but that doesnt mean Maul can still be alive. However, it is possible, because in episode 14, Darth Maul's face is shown in that witch's orb thingy, whatever it is!
I am still surprised that Savage Oppress appears more powerful than Darth Maul. And how the fuck did Count Dooku learn about Darth Maul and his demise on Naboo at the hands of Obi-Wan???
I also give you all this, Delta Squad, the elite squad of Republic Commandos, as seen in the game, make their first appearance in episode 14. And be prepared for Darth Maul might appear once again...

Savage=Clone,Opress=killer/clone killer

This was a pretty brutal episode. It killed the family friendliness out of the clone wars right now. I thought Witches of the Mist was better though.
